Heleen Wiering 'The men of GTI'

Heleen Wiering mainly makes portraits, often inspired by projects of her photographers group. Her themes and subjects are well defined. In former editions of the festival this location has seen series about Dutch female muslims, rituals (memories about her parental home) and teenage fathers. The current series shows technical specialists of 'GTI Experts', a maintenance company for machines, driving gear, elevators, cranes, etc, pictured in Amsterdam North during their move to a more modern facility.
